Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical (Night Shifts) Location: Salina, KS – 400 South Santa Fe Avenue
Position Overview:
Salina Regional Health Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) team on night shifts. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse medical and surgical patients, utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Adhere to professional standards, state regulations, and facility policies to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Unit Details:
Work within either the 3SE, 4Med, or 5Surg departments.
Maintain a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1 to provide attentive and personalized care.

Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or ability to obtain licensure.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Prior Med-Surg experience preferred but not mandatory; a commitment to patient-centered care is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Flexibility to work night shifts as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $29.00 to $43.00, based on education and experience, plus a $2.00 shift and weekend differential.
Relocation allowance up to $5,000; details discussed during the interview.
