Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Progressive Care (PCU)
Location: Claremont, NH (National Night Shift)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient team in a rural Critical Access Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care across a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, demonstrating excellent clinical judgment, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a varied patient demographic.
  • Monitor cardiac patients using telemetry equipment, ensuring continuous observation and timely intervention.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Document care plans, patient responses, and interventions accurately in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Respond swiftly to patient emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to stabilize and treat patients.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to safety protocols, including proper infection control practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Valid RN license in the State of New Hampshire or the ability to obtain licensure.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing with cardiac monitoring.
  • Previous experience in Emergency Department (ED) settings preferred.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required.
  • Experience working in rural or critical access hospital settings is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask efficiently, and make sound clinical judgments.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $33.90 to $45.25, dependent on experience.
  • Salary equivalent of approximately $70,512 to $94,120 annually based on a 40-hour week.
  • Part-time roles available with full-time benefits for 30+ hours/week.
