Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry / Progressive Care (PCU) Location: Claremont, NH (National Night Shift)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient team in a rural Critical Access Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care across a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, demonstrating excellent clinical judgment, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a varied patient demographic.
Monitor cardiac patients using telemetry equipment, ensuring continuous observation and timely intervention.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
Document care plans, patient responses, and interventions accurately in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Respond swiftly to patient emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to stabilize and treat patients.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to safety protocols, including proper infection control practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid RN license in the State of New Hampshire or the ability to obtain licensure.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing with cardiac monitoring.
Previous experience in Emergency Department (ED) settings preferred.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required.
Experience working in rural or critical access hospital settings is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently, multitask efficiently, and make sound clinical judgments.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $33.90 to $45.25, dependent on experience.
Salary equivalent of approximately $70,512 to $94,120 annually based on a 40-hour week.
Part-time roles available with full-time benefits for 30+ hours/week.
