RN - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry/Progressive Care (PCU) (Nights) Location: Claremont, NH Facility: Valley Regional Healthcare – Critical Access Hospital
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit, specializing in Progressive Care (PCU). This full-time night shift position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a small, community-focused hospital dedicated to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to a diverse age range from newborn to geriatric, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and utilize telemetry equipment effectively, demonstrating proficiency in cardiac monitoring protocols.
Respond promptly to patient needs, assessing changes in condition and making safe, informed nursing judgments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Educate patients and families about their health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the State of New Hampshire or compact state license.
Certification in ACLS, PALS, and BLS (American Heart Association).
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical units with cardiac monitoring; ED experience is preferred.
Experience working in rural or Critical Access Hospital settings is a plus.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Schedule:
Nights, full-time position
Minimum of 30 hours per week to qualify for full-time benefits
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $33.90 – $45.25, based on experience
Annual Salary Range: $70,512 – $94,120 (based on 40 hours/week)
Placement Fee: 25% of the annual salary
