Salina Regional Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis, working afternoons. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust medication therapy plans.
Provide expert counsel on medication dosing, administration, and side effect management, tailored to individual patient needs.
Participate actively in hospital-wide initiatives focused on medication safety, protocol development, and quality improvement.
Serve as a vital member of the pharmacy team, overseeing medication inventory management and compliance with regulatory standards.
Mentor and precept pharmacy students and residents, fostering clinical excellence and professional development.
Participate in emergency responses and assist in clinical decision-making during critical situations such as code blues, trauma, and stroke alerts.
Ensure adherence to all hospital policies, pharmacy laws, and safety practices, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
Valid Pharmacist license in the state of Kansas.
Prior inpatient hospital experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of medication management, hospital procedures, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.
Commitment to ongoing clinical education and professional development.
