Position: Per diem Physical Therapist – Inpatient (Varied Shifts) Location: Colebrook, NH
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient healthcare team on a per diem basis. The successful candidate will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical diagnoses. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical function, including strength, mobility, endurance, and range of motion.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activities aimed at restoring or improving patient function.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with facility protocols.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic strategies, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care.
Maintain current licensure and certification, including BLS (AHA), adhering to all regulatory standards and facility policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or registration as a Physical Therapist in New Hampshire.
Prior inpatient experience preferred but not mandatory; relevant clinical rotations are acceptable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
