Licensure/Certifications: Certified by The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, valid Louisiana state license or ability to obtain one
Experience: 2+ years of perfusion experience; new graduates considered with appropriate training

What You’ll Do:
Conduct adult cardiopulmonary bypass procedures
Provide ventricular assist device (VAD) support and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support
Operate Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) systems
Perform autotransfusions and acute dialysis as needed
Monitor physiological parameters and blood analyzers
Support organ perfusion and assist surgical teams during procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
What You Need:
Current certification from The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
Louisiana State license or ability to obtain licensure
Minimum of 2 years of relevant perfusion experience
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
About the Assignment:
This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in New Orleans, LA, providing advanced cardiovascular and extracorporeal support. The role involves close collaboration with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care during complex cardiac procedures.
