Join Our Team as a Pediatric Critical Care Physician – Make a Difference in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care!
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician to provide exceptional care in our specialized Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving outcomes for critically ill children with cardiac conditions. Whether covering day or nighttime shifts, your expertise will be instrumental in delivering top-tier critical care and advancing patient health.
Required Skills:
Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care
Extensive experience (preferably 10+ years) in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in pediatric cardiology beyond critical care
Prior involvement in complex surgical case management
Proficiency with electronic health records and critical care documentation
Ability to handle higher acuity cases independently
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Active medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility)
Minimum of 5 years of dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care experience
Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Pediatric Advanced Critical Care courses
Other Requirements:
Availability to work both day and nighttime shifts, with maximum consecutive shifts of 4–7 days
Willingness to participate in on-call responsibilities
Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently
Compliance with all institutional policies and certification standards
