What You’ll Do
Assist with patient care and therapy services in an acute care/short-term hospital setting
Support Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitation treatment programs for patients recovering from illness or injury
Help monitor and document patient progress according to facility standards and workflow
Provide hands-on assistance during mobility and therapeutic exercise activities as directed
Maintain a safe environment and follow standard precautions and rehab protocols
Collaborate with the care team to support patient recovery and discharge readiness
What You Need Required
BLS (required)
PTA licensure: In-state license/certifications must be in hand to submit
1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Ability to work M–F 5x8s with at least one weekend per month
Must work 2/3 major holidays (per assignment requirements)

About the Assignment Join a short-term acute care hospital therapy/rehabilitation program in Lafayette, Indiana with approximately 194–210 staffed beds depending on the unit. The schedule is Day shift, 5x8s (08:00–16:30), and charting is completed in Cerner.
