What You’ll Do
Provide specialized nursing care for patients with acute leukemia and hematology conditions
Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias accurately
Manage IV therapies, phlebotomy, and central line blood draws
Administer blood products and care for PICC and peripheral lines
Follow strict infection prevention and falls prevention protocols
Collaborate with Rapid Response Teams and other healthcare professionals
Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic medical records
Assist in patient education and discharge planning as needed
What You Need
Required:
Ohio RN license or pending application
BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 2 years of overall acute care experience, including 1+ year of PCU experience
Proficiency in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care
Preferred:
Oncology certification (ONS Chemo Cert)
NIHSS certification
