What You’ll Do
Provide direct patient care for oncology and telemetry patients in a high-acuity PCU setting
Administer medications, including chemotherapy, blood products, and IV therapies
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
Manage central lines, PICC lines, and other invasive devices
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient assessments and care plans
Ensure infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards
Perform wound care and manage respiratory support devices as needed
What You Need
Required:
Valid Ohio RN license or ability to apply
Minimum 2 years of experience in high-acuity PCU or Medical Oncology tele units
Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, NIH
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and IV management skills
Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels
Preferred:
Oncology-specific experience and chemotherapy administration
Experience with complex procedures like chest tubes, arterial lines, or wound vacs
Previous travel or agency nursing experience
