Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM) / Night 3x12-Hour (07:00 PM – 07:30 AM)
Hours/Week: 36 hours/week (rotating shifts)
Employment Type: Contract (Travel/Per Diem options may be available)
Licensure/Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience: 2+ years of recent PCU experience; charge RN and teaching hospital experience preferred

Pay Rate: $59.18/hour

What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a busy PCU setting
Monitor and assess patients with complex medical needs, including burns, post-surgical cases, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
Perform and assist with special procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
Document patient care accurately using EPIC system
Administer medications via Pyxis medication system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support floating within Ohio State University (OSU) hospital system as needed
What You Need
Required:
Ohio RN license or eligibility for Ohio licensure
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other/third weekend
Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems
Preferred:
Previous charge RN experience
Teaching hospital experience
Similar patient population experience
