Experience: 2+ years recent PCU experience; additional experience with similar patient populations preferred

Hourly Rate: $59.18

What You’ll Do:
Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations in the PCU setting
Monitor and assess patients with common cases including burns, surgical procedures, urology, GYN, ENT, oral/maxillofacial surgeries
Perform specialized procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
Document care accurately using EPIC system
Administer medications via Pyxis medication system
Float within Wexner Medical Center as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Follow all safety and compliance protocols including BLS and ACLS standards
What You Need:
Current Ohio RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience
Experience with adult/geriatric patient populations preferred
Previous charge RN or teaching hospital experience preferred
Familiarity with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication systems
About the Assignment:
Join a leading healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio, providing specialized care in a busy PCU unit. This assignment offers a rotating 12-hour schedule, with every other or third weekend required. The unit handles complex cases such as burns, reconstructive surgery, and other specialty procedures.
