What You’ll Do
Provide care to oncology patients on a dedicated PCU unit, including those with solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic cancers
Monitor patients using GE telemetry systems and manage complex equipment such as PICC lines, chest tubes, and external CPAP/BiPAP devices
Administer medications, including chemotherapy, blood products, and cardiac drips, following protocols
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans and respond to rapid response team activations
Manage and document patient assessments, treatments, and interventions in compliance with safety protocols
Ensure infection prevention and fall safety standards are maintained at all times
Float within units of similar or lower acuity levels as needed
What You Need
Required:
Active RN license in Ohio
BCLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in high-acuity PCU or oncology nursing
Strong clinical skills including dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and central line care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
Experience managing dysrhythmias, insulin protocols, and chemotherapy administration
Previous travel or contract nursing experience
Skills in wound care, arterial line management, and non-invasive airway management
