Registered Nurse – PCU / Acute Leukemia – Columbus, OH

  • License/Certs: Active Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS required; ONS Chemo Cert and NIHSS preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in acute care settings

  • Hourly Rate: $59.18

What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with newly diagnosed acute leukemia
  • Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias using MS/Tele, Telemetry, and rapid response teams
  • Manage IV therapy, blood products, PICC lines, and feeding tubes
  • Maintain infection prevention and fall prevention protocols
  • Document patient progress and interventions in EPIC
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Assist with patient education and discharge planning
What You Need
  • Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
  • Ability to manage IVs, blood products, and central lines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment
Join a dynamic unit specializing in the care of patients with acute leukemia. The orientation includes one week of day shifts and subsequent on-unit training. Shift assignments are flexible with self-scheduling to best fit your preferences, with rotations based on department needs. This contract provides an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and work in a supportive environment with ongoing staffing support.
