Experience: 2+ years in oncology and high-acuity units preferred, but not required
Pay & Benefits:
Pay rate: $59.18 per hour

What You’ll Do:
Provide specialized care to oncology and telemetry patients in a progressive care setting
Monitor patient vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage cardiac and respiratory equipment
Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and IV medications safely
Manage central lines, PICCs, and peripheral IV access
Respond to patient needs with rapid response team activation when necessary
Document care activities accurately and adhere to infection prevention protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need:
Valid RN license in Ohio or eligible for licensure
Minimum 2 years of recent high-acuity or oncology nursing experience preferred
BCLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required
Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, and complex medication administration
Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels
About the assignment:
This assignment is at a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio, focused on Medical Oncology and progressive care. The 36-bed Oncology Telemetry unit cares for both adult and pediatric patients with high acuity needs. The unit utilizes advanced monitoring and therapy equipment, providing a dynamic environment for growth and excellent patient care. Orientation includes initial classroom training and preceptor-led on-unit experience.
