Required Skills:
Valid RN license in applicable state
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
Proficiency in IV placement, telehealth monitoring, and intermediate patient care
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Certification in BLS and ACLS
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Flexibility to work weekdays and some weekends, including every other weekend
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with cardiac patients and insulin glucose testing
Prior experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting
Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and GTT procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nursing degree from an accredited program
At least 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac care setting
Other Requirements:
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) on weekdays and some weekends
Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity
Willingness to work in the east tower with 5-24 bed units, including cardiac stepdown beds
Willingness to comply with all relevant licensure and certification requirements
Travel or reimbursement considerations as applicable
