Join our dynamic healthcare team as a PCU Registered Nurse and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. You will be an integral part of a busy surgical intermediate care unit, providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex oncologic and surgical diagnoses. This role offers the chance to develop your skills in a challenging yet rewarding setting, supporting patients through critical procedures such as chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and emergency interventions.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
Valid RN license in good standing
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong understanding of oncologic procedures and acute patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Proficiency in computerized charting, preferably with EPIC systems
Nice to Have Skills:
ONS Chemotherapy certification
Experience with patient education and discharge planning
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (AS/BSN)
Prior experience in oncology, surgical care, or PCU units
Other Requirements:
Availability to work the 19:00 - 07:30 night shift on a 12-hour rotation
Willingness to adapt to variable scheduling based on unit needs
Successful completion of orientation and onboarding process
This full-time position starts on April 6, 2026, with three open positions available. The shift involves 12-hour night hours, and the hourly pay rate is $59.18.
