We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PCU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in our Progressive Care Unit. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the PCU, maintaining a patient ratio of approximately 1:5.
Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and thorough patient assessments.
Document patient data accurately using the Epic system.
Adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and rotating holidays; float within units of similar or lower acuity.
Work the Night 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 starting on 03/09/2026.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU setting.
Proven proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV starts.
Must hold current ACLS and BCLS certifications.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment and work collaboratively within a team.
Nice to Have Skills:
Travel nursing experience.
Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
Willingness to float within similar unit settings.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Current RN license.
At least 4 years of progressive nursing experience, with emphasis on MS/TELE skills.
Other Requirements:
Valid ACLS/BCLS certification.
Flexibility to work night shifts with a rotating schedule.
Willingness to travel or float as needed.
