We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art facility. Required Skills:
Valid RN license and active certification
BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience with similar patient populations
Strong clinical skills in managing complex care and acute conditions
Ability to perform specialized procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
Proficiency with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication systems
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous charge nurse or leadership experience
Prior experience in teaching or academic hospital settings
Knowledge of additional certifications or specialized training relevant to PCU care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 2+ years of recent experience in a similar high-acuity setting such as a teaching hospital
Other Requirements:
Availability for 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Flexibility to float within Ohio State University (OSU) facilities as needed
Ability to work every other/third weekend
No RTO requests accepted between February 15-28, 2026
Travel, licensure, certification, and other relevant reimbursements when applicable
