Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PCU or similar acute care setting
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV starts
Strong understanding of patient care protocols and unit documentation systems, specifically Epic
Current ACLS and BCLS certifications
Ability to work efficiently within a team and maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients
Flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Additional certifications such as NRP, CCRN, or relevant specialty credentials
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
At least 2 years of recent experience in PCU or telemetry units
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work rotating shifts including occasional weekends and holidays
Eligibility to work in the United States and maintain current licensure
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule with 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
Willingness to float within units of similar or lower acuity as required by staffing needs
