Are you a dedicated nurse passionate about high-acuity patient care? We are seeking a highly skilled PCU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, specialized environment. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of high-acuity PCU or telemetry experience
Proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips
Skilled in IV placement, port access, and blood product administration
Expertise with central lines, PICC lines, and IV starts
Knowledge of Heparin protocols, PCA pumps, chest tubes, and tracheostomy management
Ability to utilize GE telemetry systems and monitors
Strong infection prevention and fall risk management skills
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH
Nice to Have Skills:
Dysrhythmia management and IV insulin protocols
Chemotherapy administration and monitoring
Wound care and VAC management
Arterial line management and surgical drains
Non-invasive airway management including CPAP/BIPAP and HFNC
Phlebotomy and advanced respiratory procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Previous travel or agency RN experience highly regarded
Experience in oncology, orthopedics, or thoracic oncology is advantageous but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
Valid RN license in good standing
Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels
Willingness to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) on a 3x12 schedule
Flexibility for variable weekend shifts
Commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $59.18
Flexible, self-scheduled shifts with the first week of orientation on days
