Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse seeking a challenging role in a dynamic, high-acuity setting? We invite experienced nurses to join our team for an exciting opportunity at our brand-new Tower opening. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to surgical oncology and medical-surgical patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety. This position offers a chance to work in a busy, multidisciplinary environment that values expertise, teamwork, and professional growth.

What You Bring to the Table – Required Skills
  • Valid Registered Nurse license with at least 2 years of clinical experience
  • Proficiency in caring for adult and geriatric patients with surgical or oncologic diagnoses
  • Experience with chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and oncologic emergencies
  • Strong knowledge of infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Additional Skills That Will Set You Apart
  • Oncology-specific certifications such as ONS Chemo
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system and computerized charting
  • Ability to self-schedule and adapt to variable shift demands

Preferred Education and Experience
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required
  • Two or more years of nursing experience in a surgical oncology or med-surgical setting
  • Familiarity with complex patient care procedures and multidisciplinary collaboration

Other Requirements and Details
  • Shift Options: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) or Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) shifts available
  • Start Date: January 12, 2026
  • Staffing Ratios: Target of 1:4; shift scheduling may vary based on unit needs
  • Orientation: First week of days, followed by 36 hours of on-unit training with a preceptor
  • Location: Competitive pay rate of $59.18/hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit
