Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse seeking an impactful opportunity in a specialized care environment? We are looking for a highly skilled PCU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional inpatient care in our state-of-the-art Cancer Center. What You Will Do:
As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients with complex needs across various oncology and medical units. You will work within a comprehensive team, utilizing your skills to manage diverse cases such as hematology, oncology, and surgical patients. The role involves floating across multiple specialized units, including BMT, leukemia, and gynecological oncology, always prioritizing infection prevention and fall prevention protocols. Your focus will be on delivering safe, attentive care during 12-hour night shifts, contributing to our mission of excellence in healthcare.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2+ years of high acuity PCU or similar experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle complex patient needs with professionalism and compassion
Proficient in ACLS and BLS certifications
Knowledge of infection control and fall prevention protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Oncology experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience with special procedures or units such as BMT or hematology
Knowledge of NIHSS assessment practices
Ability to adapt to floating across multiple units
Preferred Education and Experience:
Current RN license in good standing
At least 2 years of recent critical care or PCU experience in a hospital setting
Relevant certifications (ACLS, BLS, NIHSS)
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on 01/05/2026
Ability to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) on a rotating schedule
Willingness to float to different units as needed
Certification reimbursement and travel or licensure expenses when applicable
