PACU Registered Nurse – New Orleans, LA | Day Shift (7am-3:30pm)

Experience: Previous PACU or Pre/Post-Op experience preferred

24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment
What You’ll Do:
Provide postop care for patients from all surgical specialties, including pediatric and adult populations
Float to pediatric PACU as needed, supporting high-volume pediatric cases
Monitor and care for patients in pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery units
Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein for patient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient recovery
Support patients undergoing regional anesthesia, ECT, and other procedures
Maintain patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:2
What You Need:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or comparable state
ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications (current)
Minimum of 1 year of PACU or Pre/Post-Op experience
Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
Ability to float between units and adapt to varying patient needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
