Pay & Benefits
Pay package:Competitive salary range (commensurate with experience): $100,588 to $143,769 annually
Bonuses:Quality and productivity bonus potential

What You’ll Do
Provide perioperative, patient-first care for cardiothoracic surgery patients
Assist in complex cardiac surgeries, including first assisting in surgical procedures
Manage ICU and cardiovascular surgical patient care, including rounding and evaluation across CVICU, floor, and clinic settings
Support outpatient care with 2 full-day clinics weekly, with additional patient coverage as needed
Rotate through operating room coverage Monday through Friday
Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and diagnostic testing; develop plans of care and follow-up
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation; order medications and write prescriptions per policy and regulations
What You Need
Required
Physician Assistant licensure (and relevant certifications per policy)
Minimum 3 years of cardiac/cardiovascular surgery experience
ICU patient management experience
Ability to provide independent clinical support under physician supervision in a fast-paced surgical setting
Preferred
Strong perioperative experience in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery settings
Demonstrated comfort working with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons/physicians/intensivists)
