Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team. Required Skills:
  • ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) certifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience, with preferred experience in CT imaging
  • Proficiency in patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with patients, physicians, and staff
  • Ability to operate all CT workstations and PACS imaging systems
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and quality control procedures
  • Competence in sterile techniques and venipuncture

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a high-volume hospital setting
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) and BLS Instructor credentials
  • Additional certifications or training in advanced imaging techniques
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Radiologic Technology degree or equivalent certification
  • At least one year of professional experience in radiology, with specific CT imaging exposure

Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and weekend and holiday schedules as per unit needs
  • Compliance with all hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and maintain high-quality imaging standards
  • Must pass all required background checks and vendor-specific credentialing processes
  • Must possess a valid state license and all applicable certifications upon hire

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $60.30, along with comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws, and reimbursement for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses.
