Experience: General orthopedic surgery, with specific experience in wrist, ankle, hip fractures, elective I&D, and trauma stabilization
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: pay is indicative, pay packages discussed upon application)

What You'll Do
Provide general orthopedic surgical care, including fracture management and I&D procedures
Handle 0-3 consults and 0-2 ED visits daily for closed reductions and admissions
Perform 0-2 surgeries per day, including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures
Stabilize long bone trauma and coordinate patient transfers
Respond to on-call emergencies per hospital protocols
Maintain timely documentation and adhere to hospital policies
What You Need
Active North Carolina medical license and DEA registration (NC address)
Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
At least 2 years of relevant surgical experience
Ability to handle trauma cases and perform emergency procedures
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
Able to stay within 20 minutes of the hospital during on-call hours
About the Assignment
Join a reputable hospital in Clinton, NC, for a short-term assignment delivering essential orthopedic surgical care. The hospital offers comfortable onsite housing with amenities such as Wi-Fi and cable, ensuring a convenient experience. Travel expenses are capped at $500, covering airfare or mileage (not both). Providers are expected to be credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare and enrolled with PECOS.
