Licensing/Certifications: Active Optometry license, state license preferred
Experience: Prior experience in primary eye care; contact lens & ocular disease experience preferred but not required
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $1.00 per hour (Note: pay is discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision testing
Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions
Prescribe corrective lenses and treatments
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and primary care teams
Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
Support contact lens fitting and follow-up as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
What You Need
Required:
Active Optometry license in Louisiana
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred:
Experience in contact lens practice or ocular disease management
