Required Skills:
Extensive experience in cardiovascular surgery
Proficiency in Robotics, General, Orthopedic, and related specialties
Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and OR protocols
Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations, including hurricane-related responses
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work a day shift from 06:15 to 16:45 (D10 shift)
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in hurricane-impacted areas or emergency teams
Previous travel nursing experience
Additional certifications such as CNOR, BLS, and ACLS
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
Prior experience in cardiovascular and robotic surgery environments
Proven ability to handle high-pressure scenarios and adapt to operational demands
Other Requirements:
Willingness to participate in hurricane emergency response efforts, including potential prolonged stays on-site during storm events
Ability to report as assigned during hurricane seasons (June 1 - Nov 30), with understanding that storms can occur outside this window
Compensation of $67.00/hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit
Valid licensure, certification, and travel/reimbursement benefits as applicable
Must be comfortable working in a high-impact area prone to hurricanes
