Operate in a Critical Role as an Operating Room Registered Nurse – Make a Difference in Patient Care
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse and play a vital role in delivering exceptional surgical care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to support a variety of specialized procedures, including orthopedics, cardiothoracic, ENT, GYN, plastics, vascular, ophthalmology, general surgery, trauma, urology, neurosurgery, and robotic surgeries. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Epic electronic medical record experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical protocols
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
Nice to Have Skills:
Charge nurse experience
Experience with specialized procedures or units such as ortho, cardio-thoracic, or robotics
Leadership or mentorship skills in a clinical setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid RN license in good standing
Previous experience in a hospital operating room setting preferred
Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and safety standards
Other Requirements:
Weekend and holiday availability as needed, including on-call shifts (3-4 shifts every 4 weeks)
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 18:45
Willingness to participate in special procedures and handle emergent situations
Travel and certification reimbursements available when applicable
