Join Our Team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse and Make a Vital Difference in Patient Care

Are you a skilled registered nurse seeking an exciting opportunity in a dynamic surgical environment? We are looking for dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurses to join our esteemed Level 1 Trauma Center, where your expertise will contribute to life-saving procedures across a variety of surgical specialties. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert nursing care during diverse surgical procedures, including General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Trauma, and more.
  • Serve as both circulating and scrub nurse, focusing on complex cases such as Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC electronic health records system.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and assist in emergency situations as needed.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience in a fast-paced surgical setting.
  • Proven background working in Level 1 trauma centers with extensive scrub skills.
  • Current EPIC and BCLS certification.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations with professionalism.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with ENT, GU, Plastics, or Burns surgeries.
  • Additional certifications related to surgical specialties.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse with active license.
  • Prior experience in trauma centers or high-acuity surgical units.
  • Familiarity with robotic, laparoscopic, and transplant procedures.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for 10-hour day shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, Monday through Thursday.
  • Shift coverage includes call hours during weekdays (2100-0630) and weekends (12-hour shifts from 0630-1900 and 1900-0630).
  • This position is not available for RTO from February 15, 2026, through February 28, 2026.
  • Willingness to work in a high-volume, demanding surgical environment.
