We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse to support the James Cancer Hospital’s GU/Uro Clinic. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to provide top-tier patient care in a dynamic, teaching hospital environment. Required Skills:
Valid Nursing License and active BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience; first-timers welcomed
Proficient in patient assessment, care planning, and documentation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in GU/Uro clinics or cancer care settings
Knowledge of chemotherapy and immunotherapy protocols
Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and clinical environments
Comfort with floating within scope of practice to meet facility demands
Preferred Education and Experience:
Current RN license in your state
Recent experience in a hospital setting, preferably in oncology
Familiarity with teaching hospital procedures and protocols
Other Requirements:
Must be willing to work a day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), Monday through Friday
No weekend or call responsibilities required
Travel and certification reimbursements available where applicable
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $52.61, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), generous referral bonuses, and paid sick leave in accordance with all relevant laws.
