What You’ll Bring:
Board certification in Oncology or Hematology, or eligibility to attain certification soon
A minimum of 3 weeks per month availability, with a preference for full-time commitment
At least 6 months or longer commitment ideal to allow for continuity of care
Strong clinical skills managing 12-15 patients daily in a balanced hematology/oncology setting
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient engagement abilities
Familiarity with Epic system and hospital consultation procedures preferred
Additional Assets:
Previous experience in a clinic setting with hospitalist collaboration
Experience with oncology-specific workflows, pharmacology, and patient management
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-provider environment
Educational and Experience Preferences:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Valid medical license to practice in the state
Prior oncology or hematology practice experience is highly advantageous
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
Familiarity with hospital consultations; hospital care mainly managed by hospitalists
Commitment to at least a 6-month engagement, with orientation rate not exceeding 80% of hourly pay
