We are seeking highly motivated Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurses to join our dynamic healthcare team. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients battling cancer, utilizing your specialized skills in chemotherapy administration and hematology.

In this position, you will deliver compassionate, expert care to adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematological conditions. With a focus on infection prevention, falls prevention, and comprehensive patient management, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment that rewards expertise and dedication. Contribute your specialized knowledge in telemetry, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line management, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills:
  • Valid RN license with active certification
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and ONS Chemotherapy Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in hematology or oncology
  • Proficiency in MS/Tele and Telemetry monitoring
  • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage telemetry
  • Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central line care
  • Experience with rapid response teams and feeding tube management
  • Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • NIHSS certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
  • Prior experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Ability to self-schedule shifts and adapt to variable scheduling needs

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in oncology or hematology units

Other Requirements:
  • Valid state licensure and certification
  • Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30)
  • Willingness to work variable weekends based on unit needs
  • Commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Travel and other applicable reimbursements provided

This assignment is scheduled to begin on 03/09/2026, offering an hourly pay rate of $65.76. The shift runs from 07:00 to 19:30, with four openings available. Candidates are encouraged to self-schedule shifts and participate in orientation, which includes a week of day shifts followed by on-unit training with a preceptor.
