What You’ll Do
Conduct assessments to evaluate patient functional status across neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, developmental, social, and cognitive domains
Develop and implement customized treatment plans aligned with physician orders and patient goals
Document treatment regimes and update plans based on patient progress and changing needs
Coordinate treatment schedules with patients and their families or caregivers
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, prognosis, and intervention strategies
Provide supervision to Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students in compliance with standards
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Valid Michigan OT license or eligibility to obtain one
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
