Join Our Team as an OT Inpatient Rehab Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialist
Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic inpatient rehab setting? This vital role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced acute hospital environment, contributing directly to patients' journeys toward improved function and quality of life.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of OT experience in an acute hospital setting
Valid IN state license and BLS certification
Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system
Ability to evaluate patients across all acuity levels, from ICU to progressive care units
Strong clinical skills in assessing and developing individualized Plans of Care (POC)
Experience with ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively within a team of 19 professionals
Nice to Have Skills:
Certified in Manual Therapy and Lymphedema management
Experience with Cerner EHR platform
Additional certifications related to patient rehabilitation
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
At least 1 year of inpatient rehab experience in a hospital environment
Experience working with patients with diagnoses such as cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson’s, and mobility challenges
Other Requirements:
Shift: Monday through Friday, Day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
One weekend day per month throughout the contract
Contract start date: December 23, 2025
Hourly pay rate: $54.12
Must be able to successfully work with hospital protocols and maintain compliance with facility policies
No travel required; adherence to hospital-specific requirements and certifications
