What You’ll Do
Evaluate patients’ functional abilities using formal and informal testing to guide care planning.
Develop and update goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment results and patient tolerance.
Create treatment schedules (frequency and duration) in collaboration with patients/families/caregivers and clinical support staff.
Provide therapeutic interventions and document outcomes to support billing and care coordination.
Educate patients and caregivers on conditions, prognosis, and home programs, including safe participation in recommended activities.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students in alignment with affiliate and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure care quality, privacy, and confidentiality.
