Required Skills:
MD or DO degree with a valid medical license in the state
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological procedures
Ability to perform C-sections, operative vaginal deliveries, tubal ligations, and circumcisions
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Maternal-Fetal Medicine consults
Prior work in hospital-based obstetric care settings
Additional certifications in advanced obstetric procedures
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN clinical practice
Prior experience with hospital call coverage and obstetric emergencies
Other Requirements:
Ability to participate in 24-hour call coverage, primarily from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with minimal in-house presence
Flexibility to work on specified dates including June 18, 22, July 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, August 12, 15, 16, and ongoing
Willingness to handle emergent obstetric cases such as labor with prior cesarean, maternal transports, and consults
Full support staff available, including specialized delivery staff and an integrated call team (Midwife, OB/GYN, MFM)
