Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our esteemed medical team at Walford OBGYN in Eureka, California. This is a full-time, permanent position dedicated to providing exceptional women’s healthcare within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive obstetric and gynecological examinations, diagnosis, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
Manage prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and general gynecological services.
Provide patient education on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives, clinical audits, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Valid medical license to practice in California.
Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with excellent surgical and clinical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
