Key Skills and Qualifications:
Active North Carolina Medical License and NC DEA registration
Enrolled with NC Medicaid, NC Medicare, and PECOS as a provider
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Proven experience in delivering babies, with case logs from the past 24 months
Ability to perform emergent GYN procedures and handle high-risk deliveries
Strong communication and clinical skills
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with hospital-based obstetrics in a Level 1 nursery setting
Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or emergency procedures
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of recent obstetrics and gynecology practice
Previous experience working in a hospital environment with on-call responsibilities
Other Requirements:
Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital per bylaws
No recent or open malpractice cases or disciplinary actions
Willingness to participate in 24-hour call rotations, including emergent C-sections and labor management
Ability to provide detailed case logs and respond promptly to verification requests
Travel costs capped at $500, including mileage, rental car, gas, or airfare
Providers housed in hospital-adjacent apartments and committed to compliance with hospital bylaws
