Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician – Labor & Delivery Coverage in Monroe, WI

Shift: 24-hour overnight shifts (07:00 – 07:00), combination of weekdays and weekends
License/Certifications: MD/DO, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and valid state license (IMLC accepted)
Experience: 1-2 years preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $2535.00/hour
Pay package discussed upon application

What You’ll Do:
Provide labor and delivery coverage in a hospital-based OB-GYN department
Support routine labor management, including C-sections and vaginal deliveries
Perform postpartum rounds and emergency gynecologic consultations
Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality maternal care
Support a patient volume of approximately 500–600 births annually
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient records
Support high-quality, patient-centered obstetric services in a dynamic setting
What You Need:
MD or DO with board certification in OB-GYN
1-2 years of obstetrics experience preferred
Valid state medical license or IMLC license accepted
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
Ability to work 24-hour shifts and support floating as needed in neighboring sites such as Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, and Madison
About the Assignment:
This opportunity is with a leading facility located in Monroe, Wisconsin, focusing on labor and delivery care for a diverse obstetric patient population. The schedule includes 24-hour shifts that provide an immersive experience in a collaborative hospital environment delivering excellent maternal health services. Credentialing is expected to take up to 60 days.
