Required Skills:
Current certification as a Surgical Tech or Operating Room Technician
Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and aseptic procedures
Ability to assist with surgical procedures and handle specialized equipment
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with advanced surgical procedures or specialties
Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Previous experience in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; formal surgical technology training preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical services or similar healthcare setting
Certifications such as Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent are highly desirable
Other Requirements:
Availability to work a 12-hour shift from 08:30 to 21:00
Willingness to participate in periodic on-call or emergency procedures
Valid licensure and certifications required; travel and other reimbursements provided when applicable
Must adhere to all facility-specific policies and safety protocols
