In this position, you will provide expert perioperative nursing care within a fast-paced hospital operating room. You’ll collaborate with surgical teams across specialties, including neurology, orthopedics, and vascular surgery, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The role demands a proactive mindset, strong clinical skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to urgent situations. Required Skills:
Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Operating Room
Proficiency in at least two of the following specialties: Neurology, Orthopedics, Vascular
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Capable of functioning efficiently in a high-pressure environment and responding decisively to emergencies
Basic computer literacy and technological aptitude
Ability to start within 4 weeks of application
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience
BLS certification
PALS certification (willing to obtain if not already held)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
Experience with direct patient care in a surgical setting
Demonstrated success working in fast-paced hospital environments
Other Requirements:
Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with call availability after 8/30/2025
Certification: RN in good standing; PALS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Certifications: BLS required; PALS preferred or willing to obtain
Compensation: $46.90/hour, with weekly direct deposit pay schedule
Start Date: September 1, 2025
