Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology or cardiac catheterization.
Valid LA State License.
Certification in ACLS and BLS.
ARRT certification.
Strong procedural skills with the ability to perform and assist with complex interventions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to respond to emergent situations and call requirements.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with emergency response protocols.
Advanced certifications in radiologic or cardiologic procedures.
Bilingual abilities.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or cardiology program.
Professional experience in both interventional radiology and cardiac cath labs.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to participate in emergency team assignments during hurricane season, with the understanding that storm-related deployments may require extended shifts or stay-at-location commitments.
Availability for shifts from 0800 to 1630, with flexibility for after-hours procedures.
Call responsibilities divided evenly among team members, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a response time of 30 minutes.
Participation in floating duties between IR and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed.
Commitment to upholding safety standards and adherence to applicable laws and hospital policies.
