  • Experience: Preferably 3+ years in neurosurgery or critical care (note: current candidate profile may not meet this yet)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide inpatient neurosurgical care in a hospital setting, including rounding on patients and managing postoperative status
  • Respond to occasional weekend beeper call, with 12-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday
  • Monitor critically ill neurosurgical patients, including neuro checks and managing drains, VP shunts, and invasive devices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, neurologists, ICU staff, rehab)
  • Assist with procedures such as staple/suture removal and drain management
  • Support triage and escalation of neurosurgical emergencies, including traumatic brain injuries and hemorrhages
  • Document and communicate patient status accurately and timely

What You Need
  • Active WA license or IMLC license and DEA
  • BC in neurology or related specialty preferred; minimum 3+ years relevant experience highly preferred
  • Prior inpatient neurosurgical or critical care experience preferred
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate clinical judgment in a high-acuity setting
