Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urology and make a meaningful difference in patient care. This vital role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing expert urological care and advancing your professional skills. We are seeking motivated professionals committed to delivering exceptional healthcare through compassion, expertise, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive urology assessments and formulate personalized treatment plans.
Perform diagnostic procedures, including biopsies and cystoscopies, as delegated.
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families about urological health and treatment options.
Assist in operative procedures and provide perioperative care as needed.
Float between two sites as required, providing OR and call assistance to ensure seamless patient service.
Required Skills:
Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
Proven experience in urology or related specialties preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to float between multiple sites as needed.
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in Urology or relevant specialty certification.
Experience with surgical assist and perioperative patient care.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to handle urgent and emergent situations effectively.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in urology or a related field.
Other Requirements:
Availability for OR and on-call responsibilities.
Willingness to travel between different clinical sites.
Valid BLS/ACLS certification.
Willing to adhere to all hospital policies and protocols.
