Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for psychiatry and patient-centered care? We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry to join our outpatient clinic team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure holistic patient care.
Document all clinical interactions thoroughly in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education efforts.
Required Skills:
Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Psychiatry.
Proven experience in mental health or psychiatric outpatient settings.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of current psychiatric medications and therapies.
Nice to Have Skills:
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Familiarity with sedation procedures or advanced psychiatric interventions.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) with specialization in Psychiatry.
At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in psychiatric outpatient care.
Current board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Other Requirements:
Valid state licensure and certifications.
Willingness to work full-time hours within outpatient clinic hours.
Ability to travel for occasional training or meetings if required.
Availability to work during scheduled shifts from March 16 to March 20 in Worcester.
