We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Manager to oversee our surgical services department, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Required Skills:
Documented management experience within surgical or perioperative settings
CNOR certification is mandatory
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in perioperative and surgical management
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to evaluate, adjust, and coordinate surgical schedules and staffing in real-time
Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Meditech
Competence in managing multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, trauma, vascular, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, pediatrics, urology, bariatrics, spine, and trauma cases
Ability to collaborate effectively with anesthesia, surgeons, and department stakeholders
On-call availability for all surgical specialties
Knowledge of Scope systems used in surgery
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience managing OR departments with complex or diverse surgical procedures
Familiarity with resource allocation in high-pressure environments
Ability to handle add-on cases and unforeseen schedule changes proactively
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; master’s preferred
CNOR certification strongly preferred
At least 2 years’ management experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
Other Requirements:
Must be comfortable managing various surgical specialties including orthopedic trauma, total joints, vascular, gynecology, general, ENT, pediatrics, urology, bariatrics, spine, and trauma
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing surgical schedules
Willingness to respond to on-call needs across all specialties
Experience working with Meditech EMR system

Hourly Pay Rate: $84.57
