Position Summary:
Ochsner Lafayette General is seeking experienced and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for full-time, permanent employment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care across diverse clinical settings within our facility. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered anesthesia services.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia to patients of all ages for a variety of surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout procedures.
Manage pain control and sedation techniques aligned with best practices and clinical protocols.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless perioperative care.
Participate in quality assurance activities and clinical process improvements.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all anesthesia-related activities.
Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program with current certification as a CRNA by the NBRC.
Valid Louisiana state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a CRNA.
Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience preferred.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
