Required Skills:
Current New York State RN Registration
BLS certification (ability to recertify)
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent, relevant experience in an acute care hospital environment within the past 2 years
Proficiency in IV placement, labs, telemonitoring, and patient assessments
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
No suspensions or investigations regarding professional license or certification
No professional liability claims or lawsuits
Legal right to work in the U.S.
Successful passing of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
Nice to Have Skills:
Trauma center experience, Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred
Prior experience working in hospitals of similar or larger size
Familiarity with trauma protocols and critical care procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
At least 1.5 years of recent acute care RN experience in Med/Surg/Tele units or trauma centers
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work every other weekend and some holidays; set schedule days off and excessive time off requests will not be approved
12-hour night shifts
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $66.99, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
