Position: Neurologist (Permanent Position)

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Neurologist to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neurological care, contribute to advancements in patient treatment, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough neurological assessments, diagnose neurological disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient neurological consultations, including management of complex cases such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuromuscular disorders.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging studies.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in neurology through continuous education and professional development.
  • Document patient interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities.

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oregon.
  • Proven clinical experience in neurology, with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
